The Viktor & Rolf Spring Summer 2023 Couture fashion show was a visual feast for the eyes. The event took place in Paris, the fashion capital of the world, and was attended by some of the biggest names in the fashion industry. The star of the show was the stunning 3D dresses that took center stage, leaving the audience in awe. The fashion house is known for pushing the boundaries of fashion and this time, they did not disappoint.

The 3D dresses were unlike anything the world has ever seen before. The intricate details and textures of the garments were made possible by using cutting-edge 3D printing technology. The designs incorporated multiple layers, creating a sense of depth and dimensionality, making the dresses look like they were alive and in a tospy turvy world. Each garment was an architectural masterpiece being placed in most creative ways around the models that were wearing them. The dresses were a true expression of the designers' creativity, as they had complete control over every aspect of the garment.

The fashion house used a range of materials, including silk, lace, tulle, and metallic fabrics, to create the collection. The colours were inspired by the natural beauty of the world, with shades of blue, green, and gold being prevalent. The use of these colours gave the garments a sense of fluidity, creating a feeling of motion and life.

The first three dresses were classically-constructed, cupcake-shaped ball gowns, with corset waists embellished with crystals and bows and sugary pastel skirts. Then came a model in a beige corset, her peach dress bobbing along 10cm in front of her, held off her body with a hidden frame, and looking as though it were being ferried along by the mice in Cinderella.

There was a comment here about internet culture and how consuming visuals on our phones—snapping photographs and immediately being able to invert them, using filters to distort and enhance our silhouettes and bone structure—has warped our sense of reality.
